If you want to feel the excitement of playing casino games at some of Las Vegas gaming halls and you don’t want to leave the comfort of your home, WMS. Best WMS Casinos. It’s hard to single out some WMS-exclusive casinos as most online gambling establishments try to diversify their portfolios and offer games from a variety of providers to their clients. Best WMS casinos in 2021 Williams Interactive is a subsidiary of WMS Industries, an American gaming company founded as Williams Manufacturing Company in 1943 and famous for pinball machines and video arcades. WMS Gets Into The Slot Machine Business. In 1999, WMS made one last attempt to revitalize pinball sales with its Pinball 2000 machines, but by this time the market had shrunk so much that the writing was on the wall and they decided that it was finally time to move on to something else as the company’s main source of revenue, and decided to get into the slot machine business. WMS is an American casino games provider that is especially popular in land-based casinos. If you’ve ever visited a brick and mortar casino near you, perhaps even a casino in Las Vegas, and played a video slot there, chances are it was a WMS slot. WMS slots were simply head and shoulders above the rest for years. Their slots had well-thought.
Since 2013, WMS has been operating under the umbrella of Scientific Gaming after its purchase for $1.5 billion. However, the history of WMS as a pioneer and innovator in many gambling industry aspects dates back to the times of World War II and the first revolutions of the WMS founder, Harry Williams.
Williams went down into history as the creator of an innovative pinball machine “Flat-top” and the engineer of the upward-looking tilt mechanism for pinball tables. Since the 1940s, the company founded by Williams, Williams Manufacturing, has been enjoying high revenues from pinball table production, but with the rapid decrease of demand for this sort of game in the 1990s, the company shifted to slot machine production.
The forward-looking management of WMS quickly embraced the realm of opportunities the growing industry of slot machines offered. At that time, there was no variety in slot themes and types, with the classic fruit slots dominating the market. WMS made contracts with numerous Hollywood brands and secured itself an exclusive right to produce movie-branded slots. Thus, for a couple of decades, WMS has been a leader in unique movie-themed games, including Top Gun, The Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, and the like. The company produced slots both for online and for land-based casinos, also specializing in the manufacturing of slot machine cabinets.
Though WMS has already secured itself a place in the list of top casino providers, it continues developing new striking slots surpassing the expectations of its vast fan base. Besides, WMS specializes in the online slot technology to advance the industry, to make the gameplay simpler, and accessibility – greater.

- Giant’s Gold: a fairytale-themed slot with 100 paylines enabling frequent wins and a great pastime.
- Top Gun: one of the first slots by WMS, it’s still popular among the gamblers, with its 243 paylines and a variety of bonus rounds.
- The Spartacus: Gladiator of Rome – a beautifully animated slot based on the ancient Rome theme and welcoming the gamblers to the unusual layout. Promises many small wins even with low stakes.
- Viking Vanguard – the slot exploring the theme of Vikings and providing a fixed 1,500-coin jackpot.

Best WMS Casinos
It’s hard to single out some WMS-exclusive casinos as most online gambling establishments try to diversify their portfolios and offer games from a variety of providers to their clients. Here is a list of UK online casinos with a solid reputation currently offering the WMS slots in the free demo and real money versions:

This slot may naturally go on forever; you can find another UK casino that speaks to you and try the whole range of WMS games with a deposit and a welcome match bonus to see whether the provider’s style is what you like.
Technical Support
Everything in the WMS history and present is about technology. In the 2000s, WMS specialists detected a flaw of the land-based slot machine sector – the ability of slot machines to work only on expensive, specialized hardware, which made the production of slot cabinets costly. WMS engineers developed the innovative CPU-NXT platform that enabled the functioning of slot cabinets on any RAM, even the most simple and cheapest one. The CPU-NXT platform resembled a mini-computer that could be connected to a RAM and ensured the flawless work of the cabinet, making the casino equipment much more affordable and revolutionizing the entire industry.
WMS is also the author of the Trans Reels Platform technology that allows the dynamic graphics of the slot reels. The technology is a standard in all slots production today, animating the symbols on the reels and enabling the manufacturers to add sophisticated graphical effects, especially for the bonus features.
Another innovation of WMS was the creation of Bluebird cabinets. This technology is still exclusive for the WMS, allowing the 22-inch screen and advanced sound systems that gamblers around the world brag about.
Final Thoughts
If you’re a fan of smooth, rewarding, and authentic gameplay, then the WMS slots are definitely the best pick. The provider has been working on technological flawlessness for decades, now able to fascinate its fans with every new product. However, keep in mind that you can get the best of WMS products in land-based casinos, while online products are often ripped off some of the best features and functionality.
Jack of all trades
Williams Interactive, usually referred to as just WMS, has been around for decades and was in the games industry long before online casinos came into play. The founder of WMS Industries, Harry Williams, actually invented the tilt feature on real-life pinball machines! I'm a little too young to remember the pinball machine era but what I do remember is playing Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam on my old Nintendo, and unbelievably WMS had a hand in this too. It seems like they just can't stop innovating in the games industry, whether it's for gambling, video games or physical machines!
However, what I'm here to talk about isn't their illustrious history but what they're up to in the online casino market. Compared to other companies they're relatively new to online casinos, having only stepped things up in 2012, but they've already made a massive impact on the market and offer a tonne of games which I think many of you will already be familiar with.
All in all, this is good news for two reasons. Firstly, WMS games tend to be very volatile games. Both themselves and Playtech are known for streaky slots that offer potentially big hits but with a high risk of losing streaks wiping you out. Secondly, WMS are not known for their table games so most of the WMS casinos here also have the same portfolio found at Microgaming casinos which is good news as they are easily the best options.
If however you do like volatile slot games then WMS casinos should be right up your street as these tend to be more volatile than IGT games. In fact, they compete on the volatility stakes with Aristocrat and Novomatic and you'll even find some of the casinos listed have games by all 3 of these software providers. I would advise that if you want to play WMS games want to play them on a limited budget then play with small bets - at least until you know the games well!

High profile games
There are lots of good software providers, but in my opinion none have the history and proven track record of WMS. Yes they are new to online casino games, but just look at all the different gaming markets they have conquered in the past and it's easy to see that they know exactly how to give customers the most entertainment possible. With this in mind I am tempted to say that all of their games are worthwhile, but I'll go through a few of my favourites for those of you who haven't tried WMS before.
Bruce Lee is a neat slot game which is naturally based on the famous martial artist from films like Enter the Dragon and Fist of Fury. Fury is actually quite a fitting word for this slot because when you hit, you hit hard. It uses an unusual system it calls 'Burst' where both of the initial reels only have two symbols. This means that it can take a while for you to land a win, so it's only suitable for players with a deep bankroll, but if you like high variance games then it's one for you. Thick red backgrounds, golden Chinese dragons and the Little Phoenix himself all make the game look very authentic.
Another big game from WMS is Wizard of Oz. There are tonnes of slot games out there now which use a major film or TV series and turn it into a slot, so what's the difference here? It's a 5-reel 30 payline slot with all of the film's classic characters including Dororthy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and everyone's favourite Cowardly Lion but there's much more to it that meets the eye. Players can spin from just 30p and win up to a 50,000 jackpot. The gameplay and payouts are quite similar to the massively popular Top Gun from Playtech except where Top Gun has a 1x free spin multiplier, Wizard of Oz has up to 50x (plus a higher RTP at 95.99%). It's obvious the game was a big hit simply from the fact it has spawned two spin-offs: Wizard of Oz Wicked Riches and Wizard of Oz Ruby Slippers.
Facebook games
WMS are probably just as well known for their casino exploits as their rich history I mentioned in video games and pinball machines, but in terms of casino alone one of their most well-known games is Jackpot Party Casino. After launching the game the company promoted it through Facebook and proved they can market games just as well as they can produce them.
High RTP
Unusually, WMS games tend to have a higher RTP than other casinos, which means more money coming back into the pockets of us gamers. This is not only a good thing but a very important one as playing on machines which are heavily geared towards losing can be an expensive business.
Another thing is the company's jackpot games. There are a fair few online software companies which are offering jackpots now, whether it's the multi-millions of Microgaming or the relatively sensible prizes offers by the likes of RTG. What WMS are able to offer that some others can't is the chance to play a physical slot machine in a casino and know that you are linked to all the other machines, meaning you can win big even when away from your computer. I once saw a guy playing Jungle Wild 3 and he hit jackpot after jackpot in the space of ten minutes, picking up a whole bunch of 3- and 4-figure wins from $5 bets, so I can tell you first-hand that the possibility of winning is extremely real!
Summary
WMS have nothing to prove to me or anyone else, as their history speaks for itself. From playing their games I can say with complete honesty that they are some of the most well thought-out games you'll find, they use a decent amount of official TV and film themes, and on top of all that they even have some higher than average RTPs. They're well worth a try online, and if you're playing in person it's a no-brainer to hunt down the WMX jackpot machines.
Important Note: WMS games are not available to play in a number of countries, including the USA so don't be surprised if you are not allowed to register at the WMS casinos I have listed. This is because WMS, as a land-based provider with huge and lucrative interests have to make sure that they stay on the right side of the law in countries where they are established. Thus, any country where online gambling is not specifically regulated tends to be excluded from playing their portfolio of games.
